Leaving cap-table software
You do not need more software.
You need somebody whose job is the record, and whose name is on it.
The situation
The software made you the record keeper. The renewal came in higher than the first year did. And nobody's name is on the book.
What we do
- Rebuild the register from your documents and give you the exception list before you commit to anything.
- Take the opening balance from an officer's certificate and keep the book from there.
- Post every change from a written instruction, and refuse an entry that would over-issue.
- Answer holder enquiries so they stop landing on your desk.
- Export everything, in full, whenever you ask, including on the day you leave.
What we do not do
- We do not administer option plans or issue grants.
- We do not produce 409A valuations.
- We do not run a data room or model financing scenarios.
Saying this plainly is cheaper than disappointing you later.
